Lit : We know little about the life of Charles Anfrie, apart from an important production in bronze and composition. He exhibited at the Salon between 1883 and 1895. His work includes French military subjects, figures of young women and children, and medals. His models are meticulously chiseled. Let us name a few models: “Les dernières cartouches” in bronze, “Estafette” (exhibited in plaster at the 1888 Salon), “La clé des champs” and “le petit fumeur”.
