A sculpture of Joan of Arc in armor holding a flag with pride. Gilded bronze. Signed on the terrace. Barbedienne founder.

French school.
Litér: Caravaniez was a pupil of Cavelier, Barrias and Millet. He exhibited in 1885 at the “Salon des artistes françaises”, mainly historical figures. A remarkable work is the statue of the corsair Robert Surcouf which is held at the National Fort of Saint-Malo in Brittany, France.
