Beautiful habour view with sailboats in the center. Bright blues skies with in the back the harbour. Oil on panel. Work from his impressionist period. Signed lower right.

Belgian school of the late 19th century.

Lit: Augustus, son and pupil of the great seascaper François Musin, debutes at the Salon of 1869. Seascaper as well, he began his career in a realistic genre then evolved toward a more impressionistic genre. He won several medals in Europe and the United States. He had great success during his career.
