Lit: Painter, draughtsman, illustrator and aquafortist, Victor Mignot was a self-taught artist who specialized in posters. He created the poster for the shadow theatre “Le Cénacle” in 1895 and the one for the Brussels Fair in 1896. He contributed to various Belgian and French magazines, especially sports magazines such as Le Cycliste Belge. He was a member of l’Estampe, La Gravure Originale Belge and Le Sillon, a circle from which he participated in exhibitions.

He finds his inspiration for his plastic work in the female nude, which he represents in an idealized, poetic and sensual style.

Works in the Ixelles Museum.
