The Artist used this exact location several times to portray family scenes and the little girl with the red dress is a character he painted several times as well.
Lit: Adolf Eberle, born in Munich on 11 January 1843 and died in Munich on 24 January 1914, was a Bavarian painter specializing in genre scenes. Adolf Eberle was the son of the painter Robert Eberle. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and from 1860 with Carl Theodor von Piloty. He exhibited an oil on canvas entitled First Deer at the Munich International Exhibition in 1879.
