Lovely round middle or lounge table covered with marquetry of various woods such as walnut, rosewood and maple, forming geometrical star shapes on the shelf. The edges and the baluster foot depict friezes of coloured marquetry. Tripod, the table is very stable. Refinement of the inlays, the table demonstrates the virtuosity of 19th century Italian cabinetmakers. It has been restored professionally. Excellent condition.
