Beautiful and very decorative pair of candelabra’s in white bisque mounted on gilt bronze. Two elegant couples as idealized shepherds with their sheep are sitting next to each other. Mounted on beautiful gilt bronze with branches imitating trees with three candleholders. No marks.

Size: H 42cm – base W 22 cm x P 15 cm – total W 45 cm

Lit : In France, during the 18th and 19th century, gilt bronze was employed for andirons, furniture hardware, wall lights, candelabra, and chandeliers, and it served as an embellishment for porcelain produced both in Asia and in Europe.
