Litr: Bouvier started as a self-taught landscape painter. He exhibited in Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Chicago, etc. He is considered to be one of the best seascapers of his time thanks to his capability of recreating the movement of the waves and the depth of atmosphere. Works in the Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels, Museums of the city of Liege, in the Chamber of Representatives and in the Ministry of Education.
