Beautiful round gueridon table in mahogany veneer and brass. Elegant table with 5 branches and a center foot that supports a round tablet. The beautiful, hammered brass decorations make it unique. The art deco style is enriched with a “Africanist” influence. Stamp under the tablet for the De Coene manufactory based in Kortrijk (Courtrai) in Belgium. An interesting piece carefully restored!

Lit: The DE COENE factory, active during the Art Deco period, was a company specializing in the manufacture of furniture and decorative objects characterized by the elegant, geometric style typical of that era (1920s-1930s). It stood out for the quality of its craftsmanship and its creations, which reflected the modern, luxurious trends of Art Deco.
