Louis XVIth style white marble and gilt bronze Mantel Garniture

Beautiful white marble and gilt bronze mantel garniture with “borne” clock and matching chandeliers. The chamfered glass and white marble case is extensively decorated with fine ormolu mounts. It is surmounted by an flaming torch and laurel crown in gilt bronze, garlands trailing to the sides of the dial with a bow. The flat plinth is raised on gadrooned feet. The enamel dial, with arabic numbers marking the hours, is delicatly decorated with painted garlands of flowers. intricate foliate ornament on the three pieces. Mouvement de Paris. Excellent condition, the clock has been revised and is working.
