Large impressionist seascape of a three-master sailboat in deep water. Large white clouds above a rather calm sea. Great effects in the sky and in the water. Some seagulls next to the boat. Oil on canvas, signed, dated 1899 with the mention “Malaga”. Beautiful authentic wooden frame.

Lit: Painter of landscapes and seascapes, Emilio Ocon y Rivas was a pupil of A. Maqueda and A. Romero. Works in the museums of Lisbon, the Prado museum in Madrid, the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza museum (4) in Malaga, Bellas Artes museum Malaga.
