Pair of cobalt bleu ormulu vases with winged women’s busts, Sèvres style

Large pair painted porcelain vases mounted on nicely chased gilt bronze. On one side, gallant scene with young couple in gardens on the Cobalt blue ground, landscapes on the other side. Gold decoration. The scenes are signed E. Parot. Fine handles in the shape of winged women’s busts. Top and bottom mounted with gilt bronze. Marked on the covers with the Sèvres marks and the letter S. One foot restaured.

Size: H 57cm – base 16 cm x 16cm
