“Psyche” by BOURET Eutrope

Beautiful bronze of Psyche as a nymph with dragonfly wings, pressing roses on her chest. She is an allegory of Love or spring. Signed on the terrace. Bronze with brown sheen.

Size: H 56cm – diameter of the base 18cm

Frensch School fo the second part of the 19th century.

Lit: Bouret exhibited in the Salon of Paris from 1875 till 1903. He achieved some success and had models casted in bronze. To name a few: “Au clair de la Lune”, “At the circus”, “Egyptian lady”, “Diane”.
