Large bronze of a proud deer and a doe drinking, beautiful gold patina. Signed on the terrace with the inscription “Médaille d’or” (golden medal)

Size: H 63cm x W 52 cm x D 18 cm (with marble base)

French school circa 1900.

Lit: Charles Paillet is the pupil of Georges Gardet; he will exhibit at the Salon from 1897. “Les deux amis ” (a dog and a cat) bronze in the collection of the Petit Palais in Paris. He worked with Thiébaut frères and Barbedienne for the foundry of his work.
