Liter: Emile Laporte is a sculptor and a painter. He exhibits at the Salon of 1881 and 1906. His work is usually patriotic and strong. Here we have a lighter and more sensitive model, rare in his career. Works in the museums of Angers, Autun, Clermont-Ferrand and Tourcoing.
